The archetypical early adopter of technology and ideas he often finds himself in the company of the internet generation. This places him in the unique position of being able to relate to Baby Boomers but with a clear understanding of the connected generation effectively straddling the divide between old and new marketing.

Walter grew up on a citrus farm in the Sunday’s River Valley and was educated at St Andrew’s College in Grahamstown he holds a B.Comm degree majoring in Economics and Business Economics and the Master’s Degree in Business Leadership.

More than 30 years of experience in branding, marketing and advertising and an international thought leader on social media and digital marketing.

The ex Head of Faculty: Marketing and Advertising, at the AAA School of Advertising (the leading Ad school on the continent), the founder of the Digital Marketing Academy, the first in the world to be accredited by Google, a member of the international chief marketing officers council advisory committee. Senior experience in leading Advertising Agencies and local and international corporates. Experience in wide range of markets both B2B and consumer markets.
